Exceptional food! I recommend the Ruben. Despite from having limited menu choices and being slightly overpriced, they have a very FRIENDLY and FAST service. Excellent deserts and atmosphere.
What an amazing find! We stopped here for a quick lunch and left so happy. We had the BLT sandwich and the fried green tomatoes BUT sandwich and it was so delicious. Best BLTs we've ever had. If you visit Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge make sure to eat here. Only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because the homemade chips my sandwich came with were burnt and had zero flavor. But other than that it was a great experience. Our server was very nice , oh and service is fast.
They only seem to accommodate up to 2 large parties (6+ people) at any given time. The waitress literally told us, paying customers, that they weren't going to make any more gravy for gravy and biscuit because "they're too busy." So we had to choose something else. The chicken and waffles were good but it's not something that I'd go out of my way for.
We saw Elvira's on our way to Cades Cove. Once we saw the sign for dinner beginning at 5pm. we decided this is where we'd stop on our way back to Pigeon Forge. It was a Great Decision! We loved Elvira's! Delicious food and friendly staff. Our waitress was lovely. We even made friends with some local patrons sitting beside us. I had the Pork Chops with fried potatoes & onions along with fried apples. For dessert I had Coconut Cream Pie. Scrumptious! We had no wait (5pm on a Saturday) and our food came quickly. To top it off, the location is beautiful!
Such delicious food and the staff is so professional and just as nice as can be! Also, when you visit ask to meet Elvira her passion, story and philosophy behind the creation of Elvira's Farm Fresh Cafe is really interesting. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
