Little Feather is seriously secluded. There are so many cabins I had to research the heck out of them from satellite and Google street view and ask every question I could think of. They all try to say secluded but semi-secluded will tell you right off that it is not. I wanted total privacy and Volunteer Cabin Rental gave me just that. When you view other tours virtually I suggest you try to look out the windows from inside. If it looks like they are trying to hide the view...they probably are. Volunteer supplied virtually everything we needed. Except for food. It was clean and comfortable. What more could we have asked for. So glad we chose to get married here. The minister came right to our cabin and supplied the photos as well. Then the entire world celebrated with fireworks for us. Ill be back again next 4th of July for my first anniversary. Highly recommend Volunteer cabin rentals!!
We had a great experience at Volunteer Cabin Rentals. The views are absolutely incredible, and the cabins are downright luxurious. A little pricey, for what you get, but the quality is second-to-none.
We were there this weekend for a bridal party and stayed at the bride's cabin. The hot tub was broken all weekend. I called at least 3 times to try to get it fixed. The lady I spoke to was rude and did not even apologize or try to make things right. I told her we were in the bride's cabin and her only response was I know your in the bride's cabin - still no sorry this is happening, no real effort to fix it nothing. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we got there - one with baked on casserole, the dishwasher did not work - again reported it and nothing. They said they would send housekeeping but no one came. The downstairs also had a very, very obvious moldy, musky smell like there had been a water leak. Again nothing done except a walk through where they acknowledged it smelled. You would think a company would make sure a bridal weekend went well. This company did not care at all. Nothing was fixed despite multple calls and there wasn't even an apology. I would never rent from and/or recommend this company. There are plenty of cabin rentals in this area don't risk it.
Rented Arrowhead Cabin. This is our second trip to the mountains, but first interaction with Volunteer Cabin Rentals. This was a much, much better experience. The cabin actually had usable pots, pans, dishes, and Silverwear, things you need to actually cook a meal. The staff was friendly. Price was reasonable. The access to the cabin allowed for 3 vehicles to come and go without playing car roulette. Got to see animals in the wild everyday. Overall, a great experience for the entire family.
I had a great stay at Rippling Waters cabin with my family during Christmas. The cabin was beautifully decorated and cozy. I will rent this cabin again.
